Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ASTRUM handles information when you use our mobile application, website, ordering, rewards and membership services.

1. Who we are

ASTRUM Coffee (“ASTRUM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides digital ordering, pickup, rewards, membership and customer support services for participating ASTRUM cafés. This policy applies to the ASTRUM website and iOS application.

2. Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, we may collect:

  • Account information, including your name, email address, phone number, date of birth and account identifier.
  • Order information, including selected café, menu items, customizations, pickup time, totals, discounts and order history.
  • Payment-related information. Card details are handled by Stripe, Apple Pay and their payment partners; ASTRUM does not store your complete card number.
  • Rewards and membership information, including stars, redemptions, subscription status and Daily Americano usage.
  • Device and technical information, such as device identifiers, push notification tokens, app interactions, diagnostics and security events.
  • Approximate or precise location, only when you choose to grant permission for nearby café features.
  • Communications you send to our support team, including any order number or details you choose to provide.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • create and secure your account;
  • prepare, process and communicate about your orders;
  • process payments and prevent fraud;
  • operate rewards, promotions and membership benefits;
  • show nearby cafés when location access is enabled;
  • send order updates and optional marketing notifications;
  • provide support, maintain service reliability and improve ASTRUM;
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting and safety obligations.

4. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share only the information needed to provide the service with participating ASTRUM cafés and trusted processors, including:

  • Stripe and Apple Pay for payment processing;
  • cloud hosting, database, storage and email providers;
  • Apple for Sign in with Apple and push notifications;
  • Toast, when enabled for a café, for point-of-sale, kitchen and order status operations;
  • delivery providers when you request delivery and that feature is available;
  • authorities or professional advisers when required by law or necessary to protect customers, ASTRUM or others.

Service providers may use information only to perform services for ASTRUM and must protect it under their agreements and applicable law.

5. Your choices

  • Update personal information from your profile in the ASTRUM app.
  • Change notification and location permissions in the app or iPhone Settings.
  • Turn optional marketing notifications off while retaining essential order updates.
  • Request a copy of your information or delete your account using the controls described on our account deletion page.

6. Retention and account deletion

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described above. When you delete your account, we remove sign-in data and delete or anonymize profile information, except for transaction, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting or legal records we are required to retain.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a unique password and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.

8. Children

ASTRUM is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact support.

9. Changes and contact
